How To Show Pinterest Pin It Button For Every Images

Pinterest is the latest social sharing site that exclusively deals with the Images. If your site has a lot of Wallpaper or images you should try this plugin to add Pin It button on all images. Usually the Pin It button takes the first image of your post. The first image may not so much good to be Pinned and there are other images that are worthy of it needs to be Pinned. The most important thing is that, it gives the visitor to choose the Image that he/she thinks to Pin.

All Plugin adds Pin It button on below or above or sidebar of the Post. With this plugin you can change it to the Image. This Plugin will add Pin It button on every image. You just need to Hover on the Image.

How To Install:

  1. Upload the folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Configuration interface can be found under Settings - Pinterest Pin It

Settings:

Content width: Set the content width of your site here. You will be notified after installing the Plugin. Set it here only numbers. In My site it is 680.

How To add the button only to specific images?

On the plugin settings page, check the box under the “Advanced” section called “Show the ‘Pin it’ button only on images with ‘pinthis’ class”. Go to your post and edit it. In HTML view: just add class="pinthis" to the image. If a “class” already exists, just add a space to the end of it and type pinthis. Or in Visual view, click once on your image, select the “Edit image” button, click on the “Advanced settings” tab and add to the “CSS Class” field pinthis.

How To disable the button on all images of a post?

In the plugin settings window, select the “Enable opt-out” box and save. In your post editing, you will see a “Pinterest plugin” box to the right side of your window. There you can select “Disable Pinterest Pin it button on this page”.

Excellent plugin to add pin it button but I think still most people who read the article don’t click pin it. It will take time to popular it.
